Chantelle is a small, predominantly residential area, that forms part of Akasia. It has a population of around 5,000. Many of the residents work in the nearby industrial area Rosslyn. Chantelle only occupies a piece of land only slightly over 2 square kilometres in extent.

It is located to the northwest of Pretoria and falls within the Tshwane Municipality. The Wonderboom airport is quite close by. Chantelle itself doesn’t really have any entertainment venues but their are a number of things to do in the surrounding region.

To get to Chantelle the one option is to follow the N1 heading north from Pretoria. Take the turnoff to the N4 and head west. Follow the N4 until you reach the R80 interchange. Head south on the R80 and you will soon encounter an offramp to the R513. Head west on the R513 and you will soon reach Chantelle on your right.
