The Wildebeest's Review of Wild Magazine Issue 34

The Wildebeest reviewing a book

What a great photo adorns the cover of the latest Wild Magazine. The pair of lions almost look like they are posing for a family portrait. I see that there is an article on Lions in the Karoo National Park and predators in northern Kruger. Those should be good reading.

The articles were interesting. I also enjoyed reading about the Swartberg and Gamkaberg. The “biology” section of the magazine features articles on animal sounds, mushrooms and birds’ tolerance to temperature variations and especially how they manage to walk the thin line between dehydration and being able to find food and breed in excessively hot environments.

This was the Autumn edition of Wild Magazine. I hope that you have booked your accommodation in your favourite game reserve for the July holidays!
