The Wildebeest's Review of Wild Magazine Issue 43

The Wildebeest reviewing a book

Is there a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow? If there is, then it is sitting in one of Swaziland’s top game reserves. Well, that’s my interpretation of the Winter issue of Wild Magazine.

The article on “Camp Daisy” is enjoyable. Sea, flowers and camping is a good combination for me. This is how the article describes camping in the Namaqua National Park during flower season. It is followed by a similar article on the West Coast National Park.

Another article that caught my attention was the one on the conservation of Wild Dogs. A sighting of these rare predators is always a highlight of any trip. The article on birds of prey was another interesting read that is accompanied by great photos.

I hope that the people depicted on the cover of the magazine found that pot of gold but, somehow, I doubt it. They are walking in the wrong direction. Maybe next time.
