The Wildebeest's Review of Caravan and Outdoor Life - Issue 683

The Wildebeest reviewing a book

The latest issue of “Caravan and Outdoor Life” features an article on Kosi Bay. While flipping through the magazine I notice a number of articles that I am keen to read. Where do I start?

I decide to start with “Industry news” section which is always near the front of the magazine to make you start thinking that the equipment you bought last year is no longer good enough.

Kosi Bay is out of the way for most South Africans, but it is a great place to go and stay. Just take note that it is advisable to have a 4x4 if you want to explore the area.

The next article is part 2 of a trip to Namibia. This part of the article covers the trip from Etosha to Katimo Mulilo. I personally love Namibia. Unlike a lot of South Africa human settlements are sparse in a lot of areas, and at times you feel like you have the countryside to yourself.

There is much more to read in this month’s issue including the regular sections on gear, readers reviews, and technical advice.
