South African Public Holidays for 2018

I am sure that you have realised that 2018 is now in the past and its public holidays are not too useful let’s look at what happened in that year instead.
- Cyril Ramaphosa took over the Presidency from Jacob Zuma.
- South Africa beat India in a cricket test series 2-1.
- Team South Africa competed in the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia.
- Jazz legend, Hugh Masekela, passed away at age 78.
- In April Winnie Madikizela-Mandela passed away aged 81.
- The Springboks finished 2nd in the Rugby Championship behind the All Blacks.
- The Sharks became Currie Cup champions after defeating Western Province by 17-12 at Newlands.
