Cape Town is the largest city in the Western Cape and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in South Africa. It is a beautiful place, with Table Mountain as its backdrop, and it offers a wide variety of tourist attractions including the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. The Western Cape has many other natural attractions including whale-watching, beautiful nature reserves, mountains and beaches. It is an important wine growing area and visiting the many wine farms is a popular activity. Some of the best wines in the world are produced in the region and are available for you to sample.
