Birds of Kruger National Park

Afrikaans name: Krugerwildtuin

Kruger Mammals Reptiles Insects Trees etc.
Lilac-breasted Rollers are common in Kruger National Park

Above - Kruger Park a great place for bird-watchers and, over the years, the checklist for the park has grown to over 500 species. It is such a popular birding destination that a number of bird books dedicated to the Kruger National Park have been published. There are a variety of habitats in Kruger National Park which is one of the reasons for the diverse bird life that is present. Birding along the bigger rivers and in the camp sites is especially rewarding.
